Yet another confirmation of just what we are dealing with

Over and over, we see the fundamental crisis of our times painted in pleas for tolerance, forbearance, reasonable compromise - all values and virtues of our Hellenistic cultural heritage. But here's the rub the rub, this clash of cultures is rooted in two entirely incompatible "value" systems - one based in faith and reason, the other in faith and the utter irrelevance of reason.
